This channel allows us to show off our great emergency preparedness items and demonstrate how to cook with our THRIVE line of food storage. As a very special shout-out to the hundreds of folks who subscribe to Shelf Reliance on YouTube, we’re trying something a little different with this week’s giveaway. Instead of choosing a pre-made package as our prize, we’ve decided to pull together something totally unique that you can use to make some of our most popular YouTube recipes: 6-Grain Pancakes, Black Bean & Rice Burgers, and Chocolate Chip Cookies. This week’s prize contains six #10 cans of THRIVE.

In order to enter this giveaway, you’ll need to visit www.youtube.com and comment on some Shelf Reliance videos. These comments can include compliments, questions, suggestions, or anything else you can think of! Read on for specific details on each entry:
Entry #1 – Visit this link and view the video for THRIVE Black Bean & Rice Burgers. One of our chefs, Natalie Riley, presents this recipe as a vegetarian option for those who are cutting out meat or trying to get more nutrition into their diets. Leave a comment on the video by clicking the “Post a Text Comment” link or the “Comments” tab, found underneath the video.
Entry #2 - Visit this link and view the video for THRIVE 6-Grain Pancake Mix. This video will give you some helpful information about the pancake mix and how you can customize it for a variety of different meals. Leave a comment on the video by clicking the “Post a Text Comment” link or the “Comments” tab, found underneath the video.
Entry #3 – Visit this link and view the video for THRIVE Chocolate Chip Cookies. What could be better than these cookies with a glass of milk at bedtime? Natalie shows you how to use THRIVE Whole Eggs (and other THRIVE ingredients) to make yummy cookies for your family or yourself. Leave a comment on the video by clicking the “Post a Text Comment” link or the “Comments” tab, found underneath the video.
Once you’ve left a comment on one, two, or all three of these videos, remember to come back to the Shelf Reliance blog! In order for your entries to count, you must leave a comment on the giveaway blog post that includes the name of the video you commented on AND the screen name that will appear with your comment. Each comment counts as one entry, meaning that you’ll want to leave 3 separate blog comments if you commented on all 3 videos.
For example, if I had just left a comment on the 6-Grain Pancake Mix video, I would come back to the Shelf Reliance blog, enter my real name and e-mail address in the appropriate comment boxes, and then leave a comment that said something like, “I just commented on the pancake mix YouTube video. My screen name is ‘foodstoragelady’. Thanks!” It’s as simple as that!
The giveaway will be closed and the winner will be chosen at noon (12 pm) MST on Friday, August 7th. We will contact the winner via e-mail; he or she will have a week to respond to the e-mail and accept the prize. If the first winner does not accept the prize, a new winner will be chosen.
Only those in the continental U.S. are eligible to win. Offer excludes dealers and Shelf Reliance employees. The winner will be chosen randomly. Any entries that aren’t in accordance with the giveaway rules will be disqualified and removed.
