We all love getting something for nothing, but do you know what’s even better?
Getting FOUR somethings for nothing, especially when those “somethings” are each the Cansolidator Pantry from Shelf Reliance. This week, we’ll be giving away a Cansolidator Pantry 4-Pack, which sells online for $119.96 (which, by the way, is a total steal when compared to how much it would cost to get four Cansolidators separately). Just think of the possibilities! You can arrange your Cansolidators all over the house; you can use them for pet food or human food. You might even find that you get enough use out of three units, freeing you up to give the fourth one away as a Christmas or wedding gift! The Cansolidator Pantry is easy to assemble, easy to use, and a foolproof way to cut down on wasted food.
Are you sufficiently excited? Do you want to win? Keep reading and learn how you can enter.
In honor of our Cansolidator Pantry 4-Pack, there are four ways to enter this week’s giveaway. You’ll want to put each entry in a separate comment.
1 – Leave a comment on this post and tell us what canned foods are most plentiful in your house. Whether it’s tuna fish, pineapple chunks, or big cans of beef stew, they’ll fit right in; the Cansolidator is completely adjustable, making it versatile enough to suit your family.
2 – Leave comments on other posts. We want your feedback, and we want it badly! Leave a comment on another Shelf Reliance blog post to earn this entry. This comment must be more than simply “Good post” or “Thanks a lot”; put some thought into it. Note that you can repeat this entry as many times as you’d like, but comments left on “Free on Friday” posts are not eligible. When you’ve left your other comments, simply come back to this post and let us know which article you commented on. (example: “This is Sara Hanks, and I just left a comment on the post called Driving in a Winter Wonderland.”)
3 – Subscribe to the Shelf Reliance blog. You can do this by clicking on the indicated buttons in the column on the right side of this page. If you’re already subscribed, you can earn this entry.
4 – Spread the word about this giveaway. Mention the giveaway on Facebook, Twitter, on your personal blog, or anything else you can think of! This is an entry that can only be used once, and you must be sure to leave a link or something else that will allow us to verify the entry.
The giveaway will be closed and the winner will be chosen at noon (12 pm) MST on Friday, August 14th. We will contact the winner via e-mail; he or she will have a week to respond to the e-mail and accept the prize. If the first winner does not accept the prize, a new winner will be chosen.
Only those in the continental U.S. are eligible to win the prize with free shipping; those outside of the continental U.S. are free to enter if they agree to pay for the cost of shipping (should they win). Offer excludes dealers and Shelf Reliance employees. The winner will be chosen randomly. Entries will be checked and verified; any entries that aren’t in accordance with the giveaway rules will be disqualified and removed.
Start clearing out your cupboards and hope for the best! Good luck to everyone, and be sure to watch your e-mail on Friday to see if you’re the lucky winner.

I have lots of tomatoes in just about every form stored. Also canned fruits such as pineapple, mandarin oranges and pears. Once November rolls around it will be a great time to stock up on canned pumpkin and cranberry sauce (the whole berry type) to use in muffins all winter.

Q&A: Are you prepared or alarmed is my latest blog post….and I think that being prepared is great, but let’s face it, most people won’t do as much as they could/should, unless something has them alarmed first!

I have also commented on “Another Car Story”. It was kind of funny, but got me thinking about car preparedness. I live between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, so we get some weird and nasty winter weather.

August 12th, 2009 at 7:37 PM
I forgot about mentioning all those vegetable cans that need a cansolidator home. It would really tame the mess.
August 12th, 2009 at 7:59 PM

I love these give aways! Now if only I could win one….
August 13th, 2009 at 9:31 AM
I have tons of vegetables, especially green beans! We recently bought the Harvest FRS and we LOVE it. While that one is for more long term food, we would be thrilled to win these smaller shelves for our kitchen pantry!
August 13th, 2009 at 9:38 AM
Would you believe that the family size cans of Cream of Chicken soup are cheaper at Target than the grocery stores? That plus a whole lot of large 4-cheese spaghetti sauce cans is what takes up the most room on our shelves.
August 13th, 2009 at 10:04 AM
We have more of veggies and cans of soup waiting for a more permanent place to be stored. Unfortunately a flood from TS Fay took out most of our food storage when it flooded our entire home, so we don’t have as much as we used to. We hope to be back in our house by October and then we can really begin building back up our supply. Thanks!
