Chai Flavored Pancake Syrup
Perfect syrup for apricot pancakes!

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 c water
- 2 bags spiced chai tea bags
- 1⁄2 c thrive brown sugar, packed
- 1⁄2 c cold water
- 2 1⁄2 t cornstarch
Instructions
Place 1 ½ cups water in saucepan, along with 2 spiced chai tea bags. Bring
to boil and let steep for two minutes. Remove tea bags and discard. Then
add ½ cup packed dark brown sugar. Cook and stir for one minute. Combine ½
cup cold water and 2 ½ tsp. cornstarch in a separate bowl, then add to
syrup mixture. Continue cooking for another minute or two till thickened.
