Cheesy Spaghetti Pie
This dish is a new take on a hum-drum spaghetti dinner. You can customize it with your favorite cheeses, meats, and veggies. Microwaves well if you have leftovers.

- 8 oz thrive spaghetti
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1⁄3 c parmesan cheese
- 3 T butter, melted
- 1 T parsley flakes
- 1 c ricotta cheese
- 1 lb ground beef or sausage
- 1⁄2 c thrive freeze dried chopped onions
- 1 cn tomato paste (6 oz) + 1 can water
- 1 c mozzarella cheese, divided
Instructions
* Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
* Cook spaghetti noodles through, then drain. Combine warm noodles with egg whites, parmesan, butter, and parsley. Press mixture into round pan or pie plate.
* Heat the onions and meat in a skillet until the meat is brown and crumbly; drain grease. Stir in tomato paste and can full of water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
* While pan is simmering, combine ricotta cheese, egg yolks, and 1/2 c mozzarella cheese. Spread on top of spaghetti pie shell.
* Spread meat mixture over cheese mixture, then top with remaining mozzarella cheese. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
