Chocolate Fudge
This fudge serves as a great starting point. Try it as directed, or add your own special touch for even more taste and variety.

- 1⁄2 c hot water
- 2 T softened butter
- 1 c thrive powdered milk, dry
- 1 c thrive white sugar
- 2 t vanilla
- 1 lb chocolate, chopped
- 3⁄4 t thrive iodized salt
- possible additions: orange extract, peppermint extract, zest, crushed candies, mint, nuts, etc.
Instructions
*Line the bottom of an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper or wax paper.
*Begin by making sweetened condensed milk in a blender or food processor. Combine hot water, butter, powdered milk, and sugar, then mix until combined.
*Add sweetened condensed milk to a heat-proof bowl set over a pan of barely simmering water. Add vanilla, chopped chocolate and salt, stirring occasionally, until smooth. You can also toss in any desired extras.
*Pour mixture into a baking pan and chill, uncovered, until firm (about 4 hours). *Run a knife around the edges of the pan and invert fudge onto a work surface. Remove parchment and cut fudge into 1-inch squares. Serve chilled.
