Delicious THRIVE Germade with Berry Puree and Creme
A hot breakfast is the perfect way to start a busy day. Sweeten this porridge with your favorite berries.

- 1 1⁄4 c prepared thrive instant or powdered milk
- 1⁄2 c thrive germade
- 1⁄2 t vanilla
- 1 t thrive brown sugar
- 1⁄4 c berry puree (see recipe below), warmed if desired
- whipped cream or yogurt
Instructions
For Berry Puree:
INGREDIENTS
1 c THRIVE Freeze Dried Berries, reconstituted in sweet juice (such as tropical, apple, grape, or peach nectar)
2-3 T THRIVE White Sugar (to taste)
cinnamon (if desired)
INSTRUCTIONS
*Place reconstituted berries and juice into a food processor or blender. Add sugar and blitz until smooth and creamy. Stores well in refrigerator and freezes well, too!
For Germade:
* Heat milk until just before boiling, then reduce heat. Add in germade, stirring constantly until thickened and adding more milk if it becomes too thick.
* Add vanilla and brown sugar; stir.
* Top with berry puree and whipped cream or yogurt.
Notes
A touch of lemon zest in the cream or yogurt compliments very well.
