Sweet Cornbread
Cornbread can be served alongside chili, barbecue fare, and warm soups.

- 3⁄4 c butter, melted
- 5 eggs, separated
- 1 1⁄4 c thrive instant milk, prepared
- 1 t vanilla
- sift together in a separate bowl:
- 2 c thrive white flour
- 1 c thrive cornmeal
- 1 T thrive baking powder
- 1⁄2 t thrive iodized salt
- 1 1⁄4 c thrive white sugar
Instructions
* Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; set aside.
* Mix yolks, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl, then add cooled butter.
* Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir until combined. Gently fold in egg whites.
* Pour batter into a greased and floured 9"x13" pan.
* Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out cleanly.
