Ingredients
- 1 c prepared thrive taco tvp (or 1/2 c prepared taco tvp with 1/2 lb ground beef/pork)
- 1 onion, minced, or 1/2 c thrive freeze dried chopped onions
- 2 clv garlic, minced
- 2 T minced cilantro
- 1⁄4 c red and green peepers, rehydrated
Instructions
*In a medium size bowl, cover THRIVE taco TVP with warm water. Let sit 5-10 minutes until softened and rehydrated. Drain. Repeat process for THRIVE red and green peppers and freeze dried chopped onions.
*Brown meat or warm TVP in a frying pan. Combine with other ingredients. Serve over lettuce, tortillas, or corn chips with desired toppings and garnishes.
Notes
Add anything to this! I thought of a million easy ideas, like adding THRIVE Freeze Dried Sweet Corn (rehydrated in prepared Beef or Chicken Bouillon from THRIVE), adding cooked THRIVE Black Beans or Pinto Beans, THRIVE Instant White Rice, or chopped fresh tomatoes. Be creative and be true to your tastes.

Good basic recipe!
I tried this and added Thrive Corn, black beans, 2 T tomato powder, more cilantro and a few good dashes of Cumin.
Served on Tortilla chips with Thrive Sour Cream topping. YUM!
