Wheat Crackers
Use these crackers with soups, cheese trays, or quick snacks.

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 c thrive whole wheat flour
- 1 1⁄2 c thrive white flour
- 1⁄2 c thrive white sugar
- 1⁄4 t thrive iodized salt
- 2 T butter, softened
- 2⁄3 c milk (or 2 t thrive powdered milk + 2/3 c water)
Instructions
*Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
* Combine flours, sugar and salt. Cut in butter and mix until crumbly.
*Slowly add milk until dough comes together.
* Roll dough as thin as possible on an un-oiled cookie sheet (no thicker than 1/8 inch). Score with knife to desired size, making sure to not cut through completely.
* Prick each cracker a few times with a fork. Sprinkle dough lightly with salt or onion salt as desired.
* Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until crisp and light brown.
Notes
Variations:
To add variety to your whole wheat crackers, try adding these additions to 1/4 of the dough.
To each quarter, add:
1 slice bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese + 1/4 t salt
1 t dried rosemary + 1 t granulated garlic
sprinkle prepared dough generously with onion salt
To make a full recipe of one of the variations listed above, simply quadruple the suggested amount to the full recipe.
