THRIVE Freeze Dried Blackberries really deliver on vitamin C and dietary fiber, all while providing the juicy, tart taste you love. The freeze drying process is unique in its abilty to preserve a food's original taste, nutrition, and structure, all of which can be restored with just a little added water or juice.

You might choose to rehydrate these delicious blackberries and add them to a tart or pie, or you may decide that eating them by the handful in their freeze-dried form is an even better way to go. Both options are just fine with us! With 49 GMO-free servings per can and an optimum shelf life of 25 years, you'll be able to have it both ways as often as you'd like.

What is freeze drying?
THRIVE Freeze Dried products are flash frozen, sublimated, and packaged to remove as much water as possible, all without sacrificing quality or nutritional value. These foods last longer and are healthier than foods that are simply dehydrated. Though both processes remove significant amounts of water from perishable food items, the speed of freeze drying locks in existing tastes and nutrients that would be lost during dehydration. Additionally, since freeze drying removes a greater percentage of water than dehydration, the shelf life of freeze dried products increases by several years.

  1. Yummy

I put some of these peach slices in a pitcher of peach drink and served it with dinner. It was elegant and my husband loved the "fresh peaches" in the bottom.

  2. Just plain fabulous!

I am totally impressed with the strawberries. You can tell that they were ripe when freeze dried. The smell when I opened the can was amazing. I haven't even bothered to rehydrate them. We ate them all right out of the can. I can definitely see some vanilla ice cream with strawberry topping on the horizon though!

  3. These converted my husband to a believer!

My husband was skeptical about Thrive products, thinking they would be just like the other "survival foods" we had tried. The blackberries were the first can I opened, and both our eyes popped! WHOLE, gorgeous, ripe blackberries. Wow! And the taste was truly that of ripe blackberries. It didn't take him long to rip into the other cans of fruit to "sample". They all far surpassed our expectations.
