THRIVE Pineapple Chunks are a freeze-dried, tropical delight. Each bite-size piece is bursting with the combined flavors of tart sweetness. Including THRIVE Pineapple in your diet will bring a new vigor into your life because pineapple helps revitalize your immune system.
THRIVE Pineapple Chunks make delicious smoothies and piña coladas. You can also use THRIVE Pineapple for a great pizza topping or a sweet touch in salsa and salads.
Rehydration Instructions:
Add 1 cup pineapple to 1 cup water and soak for 3–5 minutes until tender. Drain any excess water. Makes approximately 1 cup pineapple.

What is freeze drying?
THRIVE freeze-dried products are flash frozen, sublimated, and packaged to remove as much water as possible, all without sacrificing quality or nutritional value. These foods last longer and are healthier than foods that are simply dehydrated. Though both processes remove significant amounts of water from perishable food items, the speed of freeze drying locks in existing tastes and nutrients that would be lost during dehydration. Additionally, since freeze drying removes a greater percentage of water than dehydration, the shelf life of freeze-dried food increases by several years.

Storage Conditions
Temperature: Storing THRIVE at a high temperature can significantly increase the speed that calories and vitamins will degrade over time. In the correct storage container, low-moisture foods such as THRIVE can be stored at room temperature or cooler (75 degrees Fahrenheit or lower) and remain nutritious and edible for years. Our stated shelf life assumes that the product will be stored in optimal conditions.
Humidity: The affects of humidity on a closed can are caused by heat and very similar to the affects of high temperature (see above). High humidity can corrode the cans and in some cases even cause the cans to leak. Areas with high humidity can reduce the opened shelf life of the product. As humidity varies with location please use your own discretion to prevent possible sickness from eating spoiled food.
Damaged Container: Minor dents in the center of the can are usually just a cosmetic issue. However, a can that has been dented near or on a seam can have a compromised air-tight seal and allow oxygen to enter the can. If this is the case we recommend using the dented can within the specified opened shelf life, rather than closed.
The best way to maintain the highest quality of your THRIVE products is to take care of them. If you intend on storing your food for the sealed shelf life, store the cans in a place that is not open to elements such as water, light, and air. Take care of it. Don't expose it unnecessarily to the elements. Also, be sure to keep the temperature and humidity low and even. Under these proper storing situations your THRIVE will maintain its delicious taste, natural coloring, and proper nutrients.

Great in trail mix
Excellent. Great for snacks. I used it to make trail mix. Love it. Rehydrated it and added the product to pancakes. Family loves it.

Excellent!
My three and one year old sons love the pineapple chunks and I'm happy that they're eating fruit. When my older son asked for a candy cane from our Christmas tree, I countered by telling him he could choose either a candy cane or some pineapple - he chose the pineapple! Sweet and tart, it's easy for small hands and teeth.

These are delicious! Tastes exactly like fresh pineapple right out of the can. I don't even bother to rehydrate them. After eating these, I don't think I will ever be able to eat canned pineapple again.

SO GOOD!
LOVE this pineapple. So crunchy and SWEET. It takes longer to rehydrate than the can says, but that's ok. So glad I don't have to cut up a fresh pineapple anymore! And sometimes with a fresh one you get one that doesn't taste great...these ALWAYS taste great =)

I really like the FD Pineapple. I made pineapple upside-down cake with this product. I made 2 cakes in a 8x8 inch pan. One re-hydrated and one not re-hyddrated. The one not re-hydrated, hydrated in the cake, with sugar carmelizing and juice from the cherries. The one re-hydrated did taste moister. My son and grand kids really like these. I only need 2 and I am satisfied
I made a trail mix without nuts for my cub scouts. No nuts due to an allergy. They loved it. Now when they go on a hike, they tell their Mom's, "You gotta "buy" the pineapple!"Quality Carrie 10/20/11

It's like falling love!
These are great- a fantastic snack freeze dried & a flavorful addition to any salad, sauce or meal when rehydrated. We noticed it takes a bit more time to rehydrate than noted on the bag but we're patient people ;) We will absolutely be ordering more soon! I have to admit I was skeptical but the flavor & texture are great!

Pineapple diced
Everyone who walks through my door gets a taste of any Thrive items I have opened and this is one of them! I say hey, try this and they try it and everyone so far has liked them. And all have asked me for a brochure so I am running out of brouchures fast and plan on ordering more soon. But I am in love with our products so far. These pineapple chunks are great tasting and easy to store in the pantry can. I plan on keeping a few cans handy for "sampling." I have also opened my strawberry yogurt bites and they are great as well.....everyone gets to sample them too when they come to my home. I guess I have invented the "Quick Party" Walk into my home party! Hee hee!

seriously amazing!

Hehehe, this pineapple is the BEST! Watch out, you will eat too much the first time and end up with a sore tongue... Proof that it's not sugar coated junk masquarading as pineapple but the REAL DEAL! Perfect for my five kids who love sweets, just don't give too much.

Can't eat just one!

I have tried all kinds of fresh pineapple. My favorite is from Hawaii. This brings me to the freeze dried pineapple. I opened the bag the aroma was what the pineapple from Hawaii smells like. I like the taste and it does remind me of my favorite. I would recommend it. I can't wait to share it.

So good, you'll probably overdo it!
I was just snacking on these the other day, and each time I'd grab another chunk, I'd swear it was the last one. Before long, my tongue was actually sore from how much pineapple I'd eaten! Not the greatest result, I guess, but it shows you how delicious the stuff is. It tastes good rehydrated, too, but nothing beats the freeze dried form for carrying around and munching.
