THRIVE freeze-dried sweet corn brings the tastes of summer to your table anytime of the year! This golden, nutrient-rich vegetable is a great addition to any of your daily meals or snacks.
You will enjoy THRIVE Sweet Corn no matter how you use it. It will add a perfectly sweet flavor to any of your favorite salsas, dips, and soups. You can also try baking it into casserole and rice dishes. Or you might just want to eat it straight from the can!
Rehydration Instructions:
Add 1 cup corn to 4 cups hot water. Let corn soak for 3-5 minutes until tender. Drain water. Add 3 minutes soak time when rehydrating in cold water.

What is freeze drying?
THRIVE freeze-dried products are flash frozen, sublimated, and packaged to remove as much water as possible, all without sacrificing quality or nutritional value. These foods last longer and are healthier than foods that are simply dehydrated. Though both processes remove significant amounts of water from perishable food items, the speed of freeze drying locks in existing tastes and nutrients that would be lost during dehydration. Additionally, since freeze drying removes a greater percentage of water than dehydration, the shelf life of freeze-dried food increases by several years.

Storage Conditions
Temperature: Storing THRIVE at a high temperature can significantly increase the speed that calories and vitamins will degrade over time. In the correct storage container, low-moisture foods such as THRIVE can be stored at room temperature or cooler (75 degrees Fahrenheit or lower) and remain nutritious and edible for years. Our stated shelf life assumes that the product will be stored in optimal conditions.
Humidity: The affects of humidity on a closed can are caused by heat and very similar to the affects of high temperature (see above). High humidity can corrode the cans and in some cases even cause the cans to leak. Areas with high humidity can reduce the opened shelf life of the product. As humidity varies with location please use your own discretion to prevent possible sickness from eating spoiled food.
Damaged Container: Minor dents in the center of the can are usually just a cosmetic issue. However, a can that has been dented near or on a seam can have a compromised air-tight seal and allow oxygen to enter the can. If this is the case we recommend using the dented can within the specified opened shelf life, rather than closed.
The best way to maintain the highest quality of your THRIVE products is to take care of them. If you intend on storing your food for the sealed shelf life, store the cans in a place that is not open to elements such as water, light, and air. Take care of it. Don't expose it unnecessarily to the elements. Also, be sure to keep the temperature and humidity low and even. Under these proper storing situations your THRIVE will maintain its delicious taste, natural coloring, and proper nutrients.

Great addition to anything!
We eat the Top Raimen noodles for lunch and sometimes for dinner, this corn is perfect to toss in the bowl. We also make several different stir fry dishes, rice or noddle meals and adding the corn to the finished product is more than easy! It rehydrates so quickly, it's fantastic! We also just nibble on the corn for snacks too... I love cooking with it! Thanks

Could be better
I expected more from this product. It reconstitutes nicely, so that was not the issue. The corn itself was a bit too sweet---like corn that was picked a couple of days past its prime. It is good for throwing a handful into a soup or stew, but not what I want to eat "straight." I am giving it four stars because it does taste fresh when you reconstitute it.

This corn is great in casseroles, and as a side dish. It's great as a snack right out of the can too... it really does taste like popcorn.

Amazing flavor
I was so excited to get a #10 can of this item. Corn is one of our favorite vegetables, and I plan to buy more - maybe even an entire case! :)

Is our sweet corn the best or what? Yes, it is I made some to go along with my steak and salad tonight for dinner. It was great! I boiled some water and then turned off the heat and poured in the corn amount I wanted and covered the pan with a lid. Let it sit while I was grilling my steak....added some pepper and some butter and it was Totally YuMmY! Way better than canned corn! I even tried it out of the can and it is really good that way also!

Is our sweet corn good or what? I made some tonight for the first time for dinner with my Steak and salad and wow, it is way better than Canned corn and sweet. I highly reccomend our sweet corn if you like corn from the can because this is much better! Two thumbs up for it!!!! Just add a little butter and some pepper and you are set!

Excellent snack

Tastes just like canned, but just a little more mushy. Impressive
We boiled them for 5 minutes, and they turned out a little softer than canned but taste just the same.

The freeze dried corn is excellent on all kinds of salads. You do not have to rehydrate it, just sprinkle it on.
