THRIVE Pineapple is so good you will eat it straight from the can. Try it in a pina colada, as well as in cakes or trifles. This sugar-coated treat will serve as a great candy replacement for kids.

re: updating my previous review - sugary and little taste
I've started using these in a simple, home-made fruit-n-nut mix. There's something about the salty nuts that offsets the sugary pineapple. And while there's not a strong pineapple taste, they're a nice complement to the crunchy parts of the mix. We still don't snack on them right out of the can, but I'm no longer concerned about having to throw them out.

very happy
I Love, Love, Love this pineapple! I didn't ever get anything made with them, because we ate them right out of the can. Just a wonderful, delicious snack.

sugary & little taste
My children and I found these to have little to no pineapple taste...very sweet due to (apparently) being coated with sugar prior to dehydrating, but still no flavor.

Sugary
These are very sugary, with little pineapple flavor. My can was mislabeled. It said the only ingredient was "Pineapple". Anyone who has to watch their sugar intake would be misled by that. I'm glad that I didn't put this directly into my storage to be opened years later. I opened it after receiving it and discovered that it was "candied" and not simply "pineapple". My family does like snacking on it, so I will keep it, but I hope that Thrive is more careful with their labeling in the future. By law, all ingredients need to be disclosed on the label. I will try their freeze dried pineapple instead.
