CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

INGREDIENTS:
1 c. THRIVE Butter Powder
¼ c. water
¾ c. granulated sugar
¾ c. brown sugar
1 t. vanilla
2 large eggs
2 ¼ c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

PREPARATION:

Beat butter powder and water until smooth. Add sugars, eggs and vanilla and beat until creamy. Add flour, baking soda and salt and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by cookie scoop or by tablespoon onto well greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet immediately and cool on wire rack. Store in an air tight container. Makes 2 ½ -3 dozen cookies.

Note: the consistency of this cookie dough is a bit different than dough made with real butter, but it will bake just fine and the cookies taste great.
